Best of 2019 - A Year of Wedding Photographer in Review

See this content in the original post

As every year, I decided to include the review of my works from the past year in one blog post. I chose from the year 2019 the photos that I consider my best images, which together can tell you what my year of traveling wedding photographer looked like.

Three years ago, I started everything from scratch, with my move to Italy. From almost zero I had to build my business in a new country, and before that I had to adapt my children to the new place, culture and embrace a new language. It seemed impossible to me in the past.

After three years, I can say that not only I am starting to feel more and more at home here, but what surpassed my expectations, my own business is growing great, I get several hundred inquiries a year, and in 2019 I made over 50 jobs photographing weddings, elopements, couple pre-wedding, adventurous and honeymoon sessions in Italy and abroad.

I worked in the most picturesque locations such as Beldi Country Club in Marrakech, Villa del Balbianello at Como Lake, Villa Teodolinda, Il Salviatino in Florence , Villa Cora, Villa San Giacomo in Positano, Masseria Spina in Puglia, Kurhaus Bergün, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Lake Como, just to name few. That wouldn’t be possible without my couples from all the world that put immense trust in me. A huge thanks to my family and coworkers. Lots of work turned out great thanks to the huge involvement of vendors such as Blooming Eventi, Weddings Italy by Regency, Ślub w Toskanii. Working in their company is pure pleasure and professionalism.

I am glad that I photographed even more of intimate elopements, I became an expert in the Dolomites mountains and thanks to this, I will photograph always more adventurous elopements in the Dolomites and Swiss Alps next year. Thanks to my past works in Morocco I am getting new inquiries for Sahara desert weddings and Marrakech. That was always my dream!

In the 2019 year, I have not forgotten about professional development and education, I started to use drone photography, I learned how to make even better gifs and cinematographs, how to practice strobbing techniques, manage my brand even better in social media. I also returned to analog photography and in the following year I promised myself to take a 35mm film camera for weddings. Just like when I started my adventure with photography 20 years ago. After a year of practicing yoga, I got even more involved in it during the winter holidays and I hope that I will be able to maintain this form in the new year. Healthy eating, exercise, walking a lot in the mountains with my family are my ambitions in this new year.

In the meantime, I invite you for a short visual trip full of breathtaking views, crazy emotions and real people who are experiencing the most beautiful moments of their lives.
