In June, I had the honor of photographing a destination wedding on Pantelleria, the "Black Pearl of the Mediterranean." This volcanic island, with its black lava cliffs, thermal springs, and terraced vineyards, was the perfect stage for a couple whose love embodies simplicity and adventure.

The celebration spanned several days, immersing guests in the raw beauty of the island. From cliffside baths and thermal dips in the local lake to scenic drives, vineyard tours, and a lively seaside bar party, every moment reflected the couple’s adventurous spirit.

The ceremony was held in a humble chapel nestled between vineyards, a space as unpretentious and intimate as their love. The reception at Agriturismo named Parco dei Sesi—a venue surrounded by caper fields and ancient archaeological sites—was a magical blend of history and nature, with guests dining under the stars in a 5,000-year-old setting.
